1. That you understand what * lifetime home* means. It means forever. Forever means nothing but.....Forever
2. That you understand what * Pet home only* means. It means, no breeding. We can only hope that everyone spays and neuters their new puppy at six months of age.
3. You must read pages 2,
3 and 4. We will ask certain questions to make sure you read over these
pages. You can pick up and we offer delivery
too. We have no interest selling anyone a
puppy
that is to lazy or to impatient to read over some info about us and the
puppy
they are buying. No excuses now...Reading is good for your brain and
besides
almost everyday a few customers tell us that our website is easy to
read, easy
to understand, very educational and the best website they have come
across. So
there you go.
4. That you somewhat agree with our opinions on house-breaking and crate training.
5. That you please* Not have your children call us for information.
Unless
you have a language barrier.
6. That you understand that after you purchasing your puppy that the $ expense $ does not stop there. You still have vet visits, food, toys, bedding, etc....Dogs cost money!!
7. That you really thought this thoroughly through. This is a big
commitment.
A lifetime commitment and alot of responsibility. Its hard work training
a new
puppy.
8. That you already have chosen a vet or atleast thinking about one or another if this is going to be your first puppy. We ask that you have a vet appt within the first five days of your puppy's arrival.
9. That you agree to use the same food's that we are using...royal canin #
33
dry, soft can food, cottage cheese and plain vanilla activia
yogurt...Until the
pup's environmental change has past which is usually 7 to 14 days.
10. That you will supervise/educate your young and older children
about the
puppy's personal space, well-being.....as well as safety. Injuries to
small/toy
breeds happens easily.
11. That you have done some sort of research on the small breed you
are
interested in, You can always ask us for our opinions...In regards to:
What is
best for your family, personalities, shedding, allergies, and etc. Yes
we will
help you as much as possible with certain breed info, but if you get the
answer
I Dont know... try not to get upset !! Would you rather we lie ?
Sometimes "I
don't know" is the answer.
12. That you are an honorable person and understands that what the * Honor System* is.. Agree to pay and agree to our requirements before purchase and after.
13. That you understand......We choose where our puppies go. Our
puppies, our
website, our phone, our time....leads to...*our decision*. We will not
talk you
into buying one of our puppies. We will however give you valuable,
honest and
informative information about buying a puppy and caring for a new puppy.
If you
choose to buy your puppy from us or through us, Thank you we appreciate
your
money and the time you took reading over our very informative website.
14. That the home you are giving to our puppies... Be an in-door
home.
15. That when you call us....That you not treat us like a pet store.
We will
not sell our puppies to impatient, pushy, or rude people. If you are
impatient
just simply speaking with us, what about when your new puppy poops on
your
carpet ?? Our puppies, families and work comes before selling our
puppies. On
average our operator speaks to about 250-300 people per week. Most are
nice and
a few aren't. We will not tolerate any bad telephone behavior. Everyone
here
works hard and should be appreciated.
16. That you or your information *Not be on our " bad list" yes,
after eight
years we have long list of names, numbers, email addresses and addresses
of
people that have been rude to us/other breeders or have *not been
honorable. We
share them with other dog
breeders, whether they are with our network or
not.
17. That you are ready, able and willing to provide love, care, time
&
discipline for your new puppy.
18. If you are picking up your puppy, please watch your children
while in our
homes. Make rules before you arrive about who's holding puppies and how
to
hold.
19. If picking up your puppy, please do not wait till you get to our
home to
find an atm...Some of us live in the country and/or out in the
woods/sticks. For
instance an atm is 35 minutes from *My house and sometimes it does not
work*
!
20. If picking up a puppy, please keep it to 4 people or less. Once
we had a
couple coming to get their puppy & it ended up being 5 kids ages 4
to 16
years and 3 adults. Way too many people for the single/retired ladies
small
home.
21. You must be 18 years of age to purchase one of our puppies. Just
letting
you know....about 95% of the people that sign up for a puppy whether
delivery or
pickup that cancel at the last minute are under the age of 25 or reside
in the
Philly Pa. area. You cannot get a puppy from us in the future when you
do this.
If we don't think you are honorable...we will ask you to send us a
deposit.
Philly PA. Customers must send deposits.
22. If you are 18-25 still living at home we will need to speak with
your
parents. Not only will we need to speak with your parents, They too must
read
over pages 2, 3 & 4 !! Our worst experiences have been with
Mother-Young
daughter buyers. Where the young daughter read over the info and the
mother
didn't.
23. That if you buy a puppy from us and there is something wrong with
your
pup that is hereditary, genetic, or clinically ill and you need a
refund. You
agree not to threaten us, scream at us, call us names, and or accuse us
of being
a puppy mill when
you call to discuss your puppy and a refund. We give out
refunds when we have to and our puppies cannot be perfect all the
time....Impossible. Just because there is something wrong with your
puppy does
not mean that we are a puppy mill. You didn't think we were a puppy mill
when
you bought the puppy and now you do because you got one with something
wrong
with it. Please if you are this type of customer....Please buy a puppy
elsewhere!
24. That...If you think we are a puppy mill, please excuse yourself
from our
website and buy a puppy elsewhere. Just click that red x box up in the
right
hand corner and it will take you to our complaint department~. thank
you. For
those who are ill-educated and lack information....if we were a puppy
mill or a
large commercial kennel we would have a USDA license and or a commercial
kennel's license. We do not have either one of these types of licenses.
We have
a regular state kennel's license. We do not work with any puppy mills or what we
would consider to be unethical breeders.
25. You must spay or neuter when your puppy is 6-9 months old.
26.
That.... you understand....there is a huge difference between toy breeds
&
large breeds. You must be knowledgeable....when it comes to, how to care
for a
toy breed puppy when it moves from the breeders home to your home. A toy
breed
is very sensitive to environment change. We are here to help if need be,
we know
dogs !!! Page two called... "health food and care" on the website
(towards
the bottom of the page) is so important, be sure to read it well. Go
back to
this page after you get your puppy if you need help.
27. That you understand what *overstimulation and stress is to a toy
breed
puppy. More important and, why its important for toy breeds to avoid
overstimulation more then large breed puppies. Its very important to
prevent
overstimulation the first 48
hours of our pup is in its new home. You do not
know what overstimulation is or its symptoms..ask!! We Know dogs!!
Examples of
over-stimulation and stress...your new puppy arrives at your home and
children
are yelling and screaming with excitement....four new people's faces
surrounding
the puppy snapping pictures as soon as goes into its new home...giving
the new
puppy full run of the whole house and it runs around like a lunatic and
then
vomits....taking your new puppy to your friends and families houses
right after
arriving at its new homes....having your puppy delivered to your home
while a
b-day party, bridal shower
is going on, instead of a nice quiet home. These
examples have all happened to our puppies.
28. Christmas
puppies...if it's this time of year, we close the week before
Christmas and do not allow puppies to be moved to new homes the week
prior to
Christmas. Don't get caught hiding your new puppy for a week and then
giving it
to someone on xmas eve or worse christmas day.... you are violating our
requirements by doing this and we will put you on our bad list if we
catch you
doing so. You will also forfeit your 1 year guarantee. What about the
pups well
being? There is no worse time to place a puppy in a new home then the
week of
Christmas.
29. That you agree ( if doing delivery ) that when
our
puppy arrives at your home, that your home be quiet and calm, calm
assertive
behavior is best. New sights, sounds and smells are very stressful for a
toy
breed puppy. Don't invite the neighborhood over or your family over to
see the
puppy when it arrives. How about the next day.
30. No surprise deliveries. We do not allow our puppies to enter your
home
without all residents knowing, especially children. No surprises.
Yelling,
excited children who did not know a puppy was coming is fun for the
kids. Not
the puppy!!!
31. That you understand. You need to worm you new
puppy
again and you still need more disease shots and also a rabies shot. Also
depending what state you live in, most do require you to get a county
dog
license. Most vets offices have the forms. We can only give so many
shots and
wormers out before the puppy is ready to leave. It takes 16 weeks to do
them
all.
32. We do not use the word adoption, our puppies are for sale.
33. "Teacup" is a word we don't use, there is no such thing ! Teacup
is the
enemy...no good breeder is trying to make their breeds smaller and
smaller and
smaller.
34. If you are young and have not had children yet,
have
you considered an allergy free
puppy, What if your children 6 years from now are
born with allergies ??
35. That you please do not call and get upset (yell, curse, and
or
threaten us) About little things that come with breeding toy size
puppies and
transporting them. We give you a list of common (bottom of page 2 ) That
some
buyers will experience when buying a new toy breed. We don't refund for
any of
these little things.... earmites, ear yeast, fleas, walking dandruff,
stress
-coccidia, transportation-giardia, and kennel cough.
36. We give a 1 year health guarantee for hereditary and genetic defect....That needs and can be repaired. Or a death because of a hereditary or genetic. Any refunds for common occurrences will cancel your 1 Yr guarantee, in place we will only offer the state required 30 days. Any name calling, harrassing, yelling, screaming, cursing, talking over us, thru us or any mis-treatment towards us in any way about common occurrences and or anything at all will violate our purchase agreement and requirements. Then.... your 1 year guarantee will be canceled. Replaced with the 30 day guarantee that the state requires. You also will not be able to purchase a puppy from here again. Also your information will go on our "scary puppy buyer" list which is shared with all breeders here at our site and any breeders that request it.
37. No breeder here test. We do not test.
38. You cannot live in a tee-pee, a hut, a treehouse or an igloo!
39. Violation of rule numbers....47, 45, 31, 30, 28, 27, 25, 24, 23, 22, 14, 12, 9, 8, 3, 2, AND 1, will change your health guarantee from 1 Year to 30 days !
40. If you cancel after signing up for delivery or pick-up, It is a $100 cancellation fee. we report to credit agencies. You can still purchase a puppy here in the future with this type of cancellation as long as you pay the cancellation fee.
41. If you cancel after you sign up for delivery and your puppy has
already
been brought to our place for delivery to occur [Thurs & Fri} it is a
$140
cancellation fee. We report to credit agencies . This cancellation will
get your
name and info on our bad list and you will not be able to purchase a
puppy here
in the future.
42. If you cancel while your puppy is on the
road and enroute to the east coast { doesn't matter the reason} It is a
$200 cancellation fee. We report to credit agencies. This cancellation
will get your name and info on our bad list and you will not be able to
purchase a puppy here in the future.
43. We reserve the right to refuse sales and service to anyone.
44. If doing delivery, you must have your own pen to sign your paperwork.
45. If you fail to show your puppies food supplies upon delivery, you
will be
given so much time by Toni to get them and then have to mail in
the receipt,
showing you did purchase them or we will null and void your 1 Year
guarantee
with us.
46. You should purchase if you don't already have....food & water bowls, toys, and bedding
47. We do not accept deposits. Puppies are ready to go....when ready to go.
First come first serve...as long as you meet our requirements. We will
hold your
puppy on the "honor system".
48. You must have the following when
your
puppy is delivered and or when you pick up if doing pick-up must show
receipt
*Soft puppy food- the operator will inform you of what type of wet food your puppy is eating~ Petco or Petsmart
*Pedialyte clear~ grocery store
*Cottage cheese~ grocery store
*Activia plain yogurt~grocery store{don't buy lite or fatfree foods !}
REFUNDS
Refunds are issued when your puppy needs a surgery to repair something
genetic or hereditary or when a puppy needs to be hopitalized
(clinically ill)
because of an illness it came with, does not include hypoglycemia, ear mites,
fleas, cocci, giardia, kennel
cough or anything else that is minor and comes
with the territory of raising puppies. Just know that we always honor
our refund
policy. Getting a refund is easy, all you have to do is send us some
paperwork
from your vets office and we will send a money order within 7-14 days.
We can only hope that our customers do not call us about small
minor
problems that just comes with the territory of raising puppies. When you
purchase a puppy from us we do include a list of the *most common
occurrences*
and what you can do about them and what to look for.
Hoping that
you
understand that there is no way that we could breed dogs with out the
possibility of some problems here & there with some of our puppies.
(Humans
are born with genetic and or hereditary problems).
Refunds... We
have
made all sorts of refunds for all sorts of reasons. Our most common
refund would
be for a hernia repair. Something very common in Toy breeds with short
or flat
faces (Shihtzu, Pekingese, Cavalier and so on). We have made refunds for
Uri
(upper respirtory infection), Liver shunt, viral infections due to
stress
(moving from one environment to another). Parvo, backwards growing
eyelashes
(shihtzu). A sideways vulva that needed repair. Cherry eyes, something
common in
bulging eye breeds (Pugs, Bostons, Cavalier). We aren't afraid to say we
give
out refunds. We do, it is part breeding, selling...its part of life ! We
are
proud to say that when you do have questions or need help with a
refund.... we
always answer the phone and return all phone calls but do require to
have an
email address for the refund process to take place. We will not leave
you
hanging, we will not ignore you. Taking care of a refund is always a
priority,
absolutely. We will not give out a refund if we aren't informed or
allowed to
view vet paperwork or vet letter or cut out of the communication process
all
together by an angry or ignorant customer that doesnt want to answer our
questions or help us understand what is going on with a puppy. Also we
don't
charge East coast prices when selling our puppies, so we don't want to
deal with
East coast vet fees either, it isn't fair to us. If we sell you a puppy
for lets
say $300 and it usually sells for $600 in your area and then you want a
full
refund for vet fees that are outrageous in your area but not
in
our area, it would be un-fair for us to refund the whole amount. Its
called
unreasonable vet fees. If we have to compete with unreasonable vet fees,
then we
would like to double the price you have paid for your puppy please so we
can
afford the refund. Have you considered our prices and how low and fair
they are
to the average hard working american ?? It blows our mind when someone
buys a
$180 puppy, we deliver it to their door and then they call to complain
about
$4.99 medicine for ear mites ! How bout it ?!
